TradeMark Properties offers a unique menu of project coordination services to fill the needs of clients preparing for the development and construction of a commercial investment project. The Client Special Services division offers a wide range of experiences and skills to guide each client through the maze of project requirements and complexities. TradeMark can assist in the development of a project budget, offer a final review of an existing budget, and prepare and coordinate specific bid services based on the client’s preferences. Having a wide range of construction experience in the Triangle market and beyond enables our staff to give you a perspective of potential financial scenarios. A critical component of a successful project is the assembly of a top notch team of professionals possessing the skills and abilities. TradeMark can direct the daily activities of the selected team of professionals including architects, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, environmental engineers, appraisers, surveyors, legal counsel, accounting/financial expertise, general contractors, interior design, landscape, signage and other specialty services as needed or desired. By assembling the right team, contingencies can be gauged and anticipated. From the beginning, TradeMark can manage and coordinate the design meetings, manage as Owner’s Representative the site and construction meetings and obtain final occupancy and contract close-out. We take the lead in providing key questions and assisting clients in approving the final answers.

For renovation or interior capital improvement programs, we offer total coordination and bid services to secure appropriate finish selections and priced at the best costs available in the market. We can complete the project supervision including after hours scheduling to ensure the least disruption to the tenants or occupants of the property. These rehabilitation projects can be as simple as carpet and reflective ceiling replacement, current code fire, life safety upgrades, fixture refurbishment or a total technology rehabilitation to upgrade existing systems for security, mechanical, plumbing systems or other specialty systems.

Jack Lightbody (919.227.5528), CPM, leads this important service area and has a wealth of demonstrated experience. Currently, Jack is leading the development and construction of three new retail branches for Community One Bank of Asheboro, in addition to supervising the renovation of the corporate headquarters located in downtown Asheboro. He oversees and leads the project team freeing the bank personnel to focus on their day to day banking responsibilities. Jack’s past experiences enables him to lead them through complex planning discussions, budget considerations, bid and cost negotiation and most critically the construction process itself.
